Default Sd card upgrade

Anyone try to upgrade their SD card. I am looking at a 16 gig class 4. The phone comes with a class 2 card. I understand the HTC sync is installed in the SD card and you install it on your PC when you conect the phone via USB. Is there anything else there?
Anything I should do before I swap the cards?

I'm looking to do the same thing but to a 32gig card. I would assume its a simple mirror copy of all current data on the old SD card? Has anyone tried this yet?

I would do a search for "SD card" here, there are a ton of threads about this subject.

Just did this last week. Went the cheaper route and bought a class 2, 16 GB PNY card with adapter from Best Buy. Simply copy all data from the old card to the new one. The hardest part was pulling out the old card from the phone... my fingers are too fat. Tweezers work just fine to remove the card. The new card works great.

That's what I'm in the process of doing right now. I copied everything to my hard drive then copy it back to the 16G.

Yes just copy the entire card to your computer. I copied all my media-videos, songs, and pics to my ps3 then copied everything back to my new 16gd card. Which has only 5gds left. I've been downloading YouTube videos to the card and playing them over the ps3 to my LCD tv. They play surprisingly well. Music videos look good. I'm having a blast with this Evo. Now all I need is a 32gd card. I running out of space quick. I'll give my
16gd card away...

I got a 16gb card from ebay. A class 4, brand Topram. Very inexpenive compared to store prices. Worked fine. Very fast. Noticeably faster than the 8 gig class 2 that came with the phone. Speed noticeable when uploading the mp3 files from my laptop. The class 2 took foorreevveerr!!

Yes the card was good ordered from Hong Kong. I know its really a crap shoot for sd cards but i figured for 16$ it was worth the shot. All my movies and music work so far so seem's like a deal. I just searched 32 gig sd card on ebay and kept bidding one after the other so its not a preset price
