I believe there is one where it lets you put movies in the instant que for you, I guess so you wouldn't have to get up and go to a computer but unfortunately you cant watch them on your phone with it That would be awesome though

There currently are none that will allow you to stream Netflix. There are many that will allow you to manage your queue. I recommend Movies by Flilxster. It lets you see what's currently in the theaters, what's coming soon, rotten tomato ratings, and new releases, coming soon or already out DVDs. And it allows you to manage your queue. Connects to Facebook, Netflix and Flixster.

Best thing I like about it is that, unlike Netflix-only queue managers, if there's a movie in the theater now or coming out, I can go ahead and instantly add it to my queue in the Saved DVDs section. Then when the movie is released on Netflix, it will move up into my active queue automatically. I never have to remember to look for new movies that I wanted to watch anymore.

The app is just called Movies http://www.appbrain.com/app/net.flixster.android

I should mention that Netflix was hiring an Android programming type of person several months ago, so hopefully it won't be long before we get an official app we can watch on.

I'm sure they will. They have one for iPhone and iPad. You can also access Netflix through your phone's browser at http://mobile.netflix.com/, but as far as I can see, you can only see your DVD queue, not instant queue. I didn't bother trying to search for movies, it seems kinda meh to me.

I know this post is about a month old... but I was wondering if anyone knew if there would be a Netflix app coming soon. My friend and I bicker about the EVO vs. iPhone on a daily basis and that's about the only thing he has on me at this point.

There are several Netflix apps available. Unfortunately, none of them can stream movies yet. Several months ago, Netflix put out the call for an android developer, so I'm sure it won't be too much longer to wait.

In the meantime, I do highly recommend the Movies app by Flixster. http://www.appbrain.com/app/movies/net.flixster.android Not only does it show your local movies, soon to be released movies, soon to be on dvd movies, etc., but you can also access and manipulate your Netflix queue with it. So if there's a new movie out right now, I can add it to my Netflix Saved DVDs queue long before the DVD comes out, and when its available, it automagically moves up into my active queue. Then I don't have to remember when something is coming out, and I often get new releases pretty fast (just got How To Train Your Dragon a few days ago by using Movies).

Does the Movies app allow you to stream movies to your phone? I really just want to be able to watch movies or tv episodes on my EVO while I'm at work...maybe I can finally use the kickstand!

No. Your best bet for movies is to convert your own (see the movie conversion thread in the FAQ) or stream then from your computer by way of something like Orb Live (see the how to stream videos thread in the FAQ).

Was confirmed by a Netflix rep a couple of months ago that they are working on an official app and hope to release it by the end of the year.

I am also looking forward to this. Currently I also use "Movies", that the mod recommended, it's great...good looking UI, easy to link to your Netflix account and add movies to it, organize queue etc.
