Ok, so I have searched these forums and several other forums to help solve my problem and haven't found anything
History - Phone was rooted and I was running CM7. I unrooted the phone and apparently forgot to flash a stock recovery image. I show S-ON as my status. I accepted the OTA update for Gingerbread thinking I had flashed the stock recovery and the phone was stuck in a bootloader loop because I never flashed the stock recovery image and it wasn't playing nice with Clockwork (according to sprint). Sprint was able to load the gingerbread update for me. I looked at the phone and still have superuser access and can utilize "root only" programs, however it reads S-ON. Clockwork is also still installed.
Present - there is an OTA update available and when I try to do this, the phone will not do the update, I am assuming because clockwork is still on there. Is there anyway to remove this without root or do I have to wait until someone cracks the gingerbread and then reroot my phone? Being that I am S-ON but still have superuser access, is there something else I can do?

Edit - Is there additional information that would be helpful to provide?
Edit: Anyone have any insight, comments or thoughts?
