Default Unrevoked Error

I was trying to root my phone using unrevoked and everything was runnign smooth until the very end. I received the following message from unrevoked "Unable to Root, Is your firmware too new." Has anyone had this same issue? What can I do to fix this? I tried searching the forum but could nto find any post related to this error. Here are the specs on my phone:

HTC Evo 4g
Android Version - 2.2
Baseband Version - 2.15.00.11.19
Kernel Version - 2.6.32.17-gee557fd htc -kernel@and18-2 #15
Software Number - 3.70.651.1
Browser Version - WebKit 3.1
PRI Version - 1.90_003
PRL Version - 60677

Any help is greatly appreciated

As the Unrevoked webpage says:

The program says “Error: failed to get root. Is your firmware too new?”
If you're on EVO 4G, we've seen this happen with some applications from the market that cause incompatibilities; try uninstalling other apps. If you're on Wildfire, then the message is as it suggests; your firmware is in fact too new, and has the vulnerability that we use to get root patched. Sorry.

Thanks for the info Khassy. I also read in another post that you have to install HTC Sync at least once on your computer, so it will install certain drivers, then uninstall just the HTC Sync program and leave the drivers. IT WORKED!!!!(caps for happiness and emphasis not anger) YEAAAAAHHHHHH! My phone is now rooted, I have the super user icon and just installed free wi-fi tethering. I LOVE THIS FORUM!
