Not having used Pandora, I can't comment about it being "wack" but Spotify now offers free unlimited radio to all US users and its pretty good (with supposedly unlimited skips although I haven't tried skipping much so not sure about that). I like it a lot. An yeah, Tune-In Radio is also quite good, as is iHeart Radio.

I'm using Spotify now as well, with the new update. Jango is another app that allows unlimited skipping. Love TuneIn Radio.

I just want to point out I have user for w paid for Pandora for a long time. I now don't care if Pandora works for the EVO or not for I have switched to slacker radio and you need to too. Unlimited skips and you can play any song or album on demand. Also ESPN and ABC news updates if you choose to use them. Prices are free. 3.99/ month and 9.99/month the 3.99 get you zero adds and unlimited skips among many other things the 9.99 a month gets you any song anytime station catching so you can listen to your station without a data connection and any album any time lyrics and all that other stuff on 3.99 per month and 9.99 a month. Point is your hurting yourself if you read this and you dont at least check it out. More that it offers but I'm not a sales man for slacker radio and if they are not going to pay me foretell you guys then you can go rind out yourselfers lol

Everyone today EVO 4G LTE sent out an update now Pandora works with the Phone. Also if you are not happy with the pricing plan call your local store rep and see if he can help it worked for me got my 5GB back for 29.99

Ultimately, all of these music apps are essentially the same with a few minor differences between them.

Slacker allows you to Ban a Song or an Artist, Pandora doesn't. I have found that sometimes, Slacker does not let me ban a song and I'm forced to simply skip it.

TuneIn Radio I've not tried.

Someone recommended Songza to me and if you haven't tried it, you should check it out. The main differentiator is the use of a Concierge service that utilizes the time of day in order to provide time-related music. Definitely interesting the first few times you use it.

Someone said something about there being an update for Pandora. Did I read that right? HTC sent out the update? That doesn't make sense. Wouldn't Pandora be the ones that need to update their app?
