I highly recommend the Jabra Halo, especially if you don't like in-ear buds.

Also, if you use the search function, or just look around the accessories forum here, you'll find discussions on various headsets.

also be aware that if you simply plug in ANY pair of headphones, they will work for all audio output, including calls, and that the phone will use the mic to pick up your voice just like speakerphone. i havent found a bluetooth that i like yet so i have just been using my regular earbuds for now, the only thing i have noticed is i have to have my phone out of my pocket, but not necesarilly near my face for the person on the other end to hear me

Not all headphones with inline mics work well. Often, you can receive audio (including calls) but can't use the controls for music as you normally can. It also depends on the music program used. My Halo works perfectly controlling music with MixZing, but didn't work with doubleTwist (I prefer MixZing anyway).

wasnt refering to sets with mics or controls. just plain headphones, and the mic that i was refering to was the phone mic

I've been using the Motorola H700 here and it has been working very well and not expensive either.

Motorola HT820's work really well.(not sure if they even still make them)  I wouldn't wear them in public though.  They make you look a little like princess leia. Wink

I'm a huge fan of Plantronics. They simply just do what they're suppose to do. Excellent battery life. Can be heard and hear out doors with all that comes with outdoors.
Light stylish. I have the 975. traded up and gave my old one to my 12yr old. Even she thinks it cool Cool

I'm a huge fan of my in car bluetooth device. I have yet to find one that hangs off of your ear that is comfortable and worth anything.

If you expect to only use the bluetooth while in the car, then check out getting one installed in your vehicle. You can get a device to install in your car for nearly as cheap as a headset/bluetooth and then just have to pay a small install fee.

Or you can get a portable one that clips onto the visor. I'm considering getting this one that answers calls, streams music to the car stereo, cans for the best FM channel and tells you which to dial to, announces calls, up to 18 hours of talk time, 14 days of standby, and supports any voice commands your phone supports. The only negative aspect I see with it is that it comes with a mini-USB car charger, so I'll have to keep two car chargers with me. Not that big of a deal really though with as long as this thing will last on a charge.

I use the Blue Ant T1, and it does a fine job of reading reading text and making voice calls.

The Blueant Q2 works very well with Evo. I upgraded from the T1 and I love it. Fits well in my ear, sounds great, reads callers name, reads my text and has voice dialling. Bought $97 at Fry's but can find lower on-line.
