I wanted something that would drowned out the casino noise while I'm playing poker and sound good as well, while I'm listening to MP3's on my EVO. I also travel by plane a couple times a year and have been wanting these for awhile now. You can read about how well the QC15's work all over the net, but I wanted to report that the iphone cord that is supplied with the QC15's will alow you to answer the phone and talk through the headphone, on the EVO. The volume controls don't work, but the button to answer the phone does, and so far, everyone I have spoken to while using the headphone as I talked, said I sounded nice and clear. BOSE does sell a cord for other phones, but it's another $30, so it's a bonus that I can answer and talk on my EVO. I haven't had a chance to see how well the phone converation goes in the noisey confines of the casino, I'll let you know on that, later.

I love Bose,   I wonder if the volume controls would work with a different Rom,  the buds we sell at work are meant for iphone use and didn't work with my Evo until I rooted and shoved a different rom on,   if I remember rightly there was a setting in spare parts I messed with that allowed remote audio controls.....long story short,   the bud controls now work...shame I can't use buds due to certain piercings I have though    LOL

Make sure TTY mode is turned on in the settings/call option.

Make sure TTY mode is turned on in the settings/call option.

It was turned off and I was still able to answer the phone, talk and hang up using the headphones. Pandora paused as I talked and resumed at the end of the call. I turned it on as you suggested and the volume buttons still did not work. I didn't try all 3 settings. Maybe later I'll give the other 2 a try and see what happens.
