If anyone is looking for a leather flip case (I know some had mentioned checking out the PDair cases awhile back), Noreve now has some for the Evo. Lots of different colors available.

I bought this one
http://shop.htcpedia.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=643
but guess what ... you need a hammer to fit the evo inside the pouch but since it is of very good manufactuirng quality I decided to keep it (although seller offers a 45 days return policy)'

I also purchase this
http://www.case-mate.com/HTC-EVO-4G-Cases/Case-Mate-HTC-EVO-4G-Barely-There-Cases.asp

If the evo would not fit in image having the casemated added to it... but I put my brains to work and ended up building a wood jig out of soft wood >>

#1 a little bit bigger than the phone rounding off edges of the jig and making it realy smooth using a fine sandpaper.Hooked up jig verticaly into a vice and sprayed the case with leather shoe strecher and shove
the case into the jig leaving it overnight.next morning I had a perfect fit wink
http://www.cadillacshoe.com/cadillacshoe/Shoe%20Care/ShoeStretch.html

#2 to stretch the case even more so that the evo+casemate could be inserted into the pouch I used a different approach.Used the same jig into the pouch... but this time fiiled up a glass of water and immersed the whole thing leaving it soaking overnight. The wood absorbed the water and expanded the case to a perfect fit of EVO+CASEMATE Cool

Might check this out. I've been searching for something similar to the Vaja case (www.vajacases.com) I had for my old iPhone ever since I switched to the Evo. The PDair didn't quite cut it from the pictures but this Noreve may finally be the one.

Perhaps the best quality (and most expensive) flip leather case for the Evo is the Piel Frama Magnum:
http://www.pielframa.com/htc-evo-4g-imagnum-cases.htm

The magnet holds the flip top securely closed, but is still easy to open; also, parts are supplied to use it with a belt clip or without.
I managed to find one online for about $75, and it's worth every penny.

Oh wow! I just got my Evo two days ago, and this is exactly what I was looking for. Just a list of FLIP cases, like those very popular ones the iPad has. This little buddy will be accompanying me in my purse! Thank you very much Smiley
