i see on the market there is a task mgr. called "FROYO TASK KILLER "

to me, i know task killers are bad and all....but this looks like just a SHORTCUT through the setting menu to the built in task mgr.

correct?

It is a shortcut to the apps list, yes. Why you would need it is beyond me. You still shouldn't be force-closing apps, even through the built-in app list, unless they are acting up (i.e., won't close properly). Its still a useless app. I would recommend Watchdog Task Manager instead, which keeps an eye on your apps and notifies you if any have "gone rogue," at which time you can choose to ignore it or kill it.

I ALREADY HAVE WATCHDOG...AND ITS AWESOME.

task killers are useless. just was wondering why this app exisits?

Yes they're problems task killers I experimented with it I found it kills ur battery and make ur EVO run slow also. I thank you Khassy cause u was rt and my friends also notice the change in battery life and speed...
