 Sad Anybody purchase games off the Gameloft site ? I bought Nova and Modern Combat but its saying it requires additional download in order to play but the additional download seems to freeze or not move at all. Did anyone else have to wait a really long time for the additional download to load ??

The download can take some time depending on your connection, but yes, you have to download the additional stuff.

You don't already have Nova on your phone?

No, I never even heard of N.O.V.A til I came across in on my iPod Touch and had so much fun playing it. Also have fun with Modern Combat and thought this would be a great game to have on my phone as a time-killer. Went to the website and saw it's compatible with my phone so I purchased both N.O.V.A and Modern Combat but  Angry it wont load the additional downloads needed to play. I contacted Gameloft customer support and they blamed that it's a bug with my phone and not their game downloader.  Sad If other HTC EVO/EVO Shift owners can get Gameloft games loaded why can't I ??

Don't know what to tell you. If you have the latest software update, you should have gotten Nova added to your phone for free, along with stuff like the Blockbuster app. Have you tried powering off and pulling the battery for 30 seconds or more?

I actually got my EVO about 20 hours ago. It came with the Nova application and the blockbuster app but like the other members said it requires an additional download and i have waited 2 hours to download it and it got 1/4 way. I have pretty good connection and i have powered it off and all that. I believe its A Gameloft issue not the device.

Did you try downloading it over wifi? Even if you have a good 3g connection, if you have a good wifi connection, wifi will be much faster. Most times, when downloading a lot of extra data like that, wifi is recommended.
