I honestly think speedtest.net is secretly endorsing at&t. Why? Every none at&t phone I have see using it gets ridiculous speed ratings. It rated my 4 bar 3g connection at 0kb download.... its a conspiracy maaane

Doesn't this thread sort of duplicate http://www.evo4gforum.net/htc-evo-4g-general-discussion/speed-test-reports/ ?

I stumbled upon a 4G tower in Milwaukee, WI.  Clearwire must be starting to put towers up here.  However, I tested 10 times with a full strength signal (4 bars) and the highest I got was 3.02 Mbps.  Maybe it is still being tested and not at full strength yet.

This is semi-related but I'm having issues. My phone is super slow unless I'm on Wifi or 4G. I'm getting 0.07mbps download and 0.02mbps upload. My battery has also been draining faster than usual. I took it in to Sprint to have them look at it. They did a full restore and they plugged it into their computer and rebooted my phone. They said their computer detected a problem and corrected it. Once I got home and set everything up again, I loaded SpeedTest.Net and the above results are what I'm getting.

I ran the same test on two of my friends Evo's and they are getting around 1.6mbps download and over 1mbps upload. I even rebooted both of our phones and updated our PRL's. I'm getting these speeds even with everything stock. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think it's a hardware problem and my phone would need to be replaced, but I don't understand why they didn't see that when I had them look at it.
