Had same problem as Zeria. 1 to 2 bars in house and dropped calls - 4 to 5 on deck with wife’s Epic. My EVO only drops calls when I call Sprint (not kidding). Caused by fire retardant in walls. No problem in freind's house farther from tower. Now she sits by windows facing tower to insure no dropped calls

Sprint sent not 1 but 2 Airaves, since I don’t have DSL only air card for internet couldn’t use. Had to send them back. Techie said their towers are being converted over to 4G as soon as possible, don’t need new ones.

Well duh. I’ve got 3 different antennas on same pole. Think I could go work for Sprint?

Did gave it to me for free with no monthly service charge because had air card.

Mod: May have finally solved reception problem. Boss was getting really discussed with dropped calls so I called Sprint again! Got a tech who said he would change her phone to roaming only, grandfathered in for free so didn’t matter.

Been over a week and no problems.

She doesn’t have to sit near window any more, pretty cold here even with double pane + storm windows.

This is a bit off topic but does anyone have suggestions when one cannot hook up to the internet as you have to do with airave? This is our first trip where inside I only get 1/2 bar.

My airave and evo stopped working together weeks ago. I finally got around to calling sprint about it last night. They reset it.

Today, still no luck. I called again and spent an hour trouble shooting, no luck. They say the airave appears to be fine and can't figure out why the evo can't see it.

Any suggestions?

I have the latest version of software on my evo, I updated profile & prl. still can't get evo onto airave signal. Help
