With Sprint capping my hotspot data to 5 gig's, I'm looking for other avenues of watching Netflix on my TV.

I read here, that you could not watch Netflix on your evo, and play it to your TV via the HDMI cable. Then I ran across a video on youtube, where the guy used a program to mirror what was on the EVO screen to the TV, but I " think " this was only for rooted phones.

Can I, or can I not watch Netflix from my EVO to my TV via the HDMI cable? Asking before I buy the cable.
