I love the new Galaxy S II's   but they are Samsung,  I am allergic to Samsung.

The Evo is still at the top of the game for me,  I will wait till something that gives a noticable gap before I move on.

I plan on keeping the EVO until Sprint rolls out their new LTE network. Looks like I will have the EVO for at least another year.

What everyone but Sprint is using, now.

BTW, we're keeping our EVO 4Gs.  They work fine, so why not.

My wife is almost ready to upgrade her phone on Sprint and we think that another evo would be nice.  However I'm not really impressed with HTC's current offerings in the android world.

Like GGXena, I am also allergic to Samsung.  My last phone was a POS samsung attempt at a NEXTEL phone.  Also I have played with the other phones and Sense is the best that I have used.  That said, I do not want to spend the money on a phone that is on the chopping block from the carrier and manufacturer. Has anyone heard anything on upcoming HTC Android phones?  And am I the only one that would simply like to see the EVO4G updated with more memory, a faster processor, Ice Cream Sandwich, and *gasp* the new Sense UI?

Except for the ICS part, you're talking about the Evo 3d. wink

Sprint is attempting to upgrade it's network to LTE.  I'd say it'll be later in the year before a new HTC flagship phone is announced.

I was just thinking about this topic this weekend. After reading a bit, I realized the EVO I love is still great! Then, about an hour later, I got the OTA update which I only heard about while researching phones. I downloaded it and so far...i still love my EVO!

My only complaint remains the poor battery life. So I'm going to run my 2600 battery from now on and buy a 3500 too.
(where is the best place to get cheap, good batteries?)

The 3d didn't really impress me. I like the 8mp camera, 3d had dual 5mp. And the screen seems smaller on the 3d.

My EVO with custom ROM, kernel and radios keeps me from getting a new phone.  Doing all of that have me a new phone.  That being said, when sprint rolls out lte and I can get another HTC sense phone with lte, then I'll look into a new phone

Looks like there will be a new, decent successor to our evo4g's. Sprint announced the Evolution LTE,
a version of the new HTC One X.  Makes my day. Was really bummed when it looked like ATT was gonna
get the one x exclusively.
