so i wake on the newyears just to find my evo in the dos water bowl..yeah...
I put it in a bowl of rice to let it dry out...well the batt no longer works...derp, but when i put the batt from my other evo in the one that was in the water and try to turn in on it vibrates and after a min or so the home, back, and other lights on the bottom turn on and i can hear the sprint music playing...can someone tell me what is wrong..the screen wont turn on.

is this a simple fix? or should i sell it for parts/as-is?

If you've done a search, there are other threads about water damage and blank screen where those issues are discussed. If you look below, it even gives shows you the threads in the suggestions.  I know that some people have replaced the actual screen when they had similar problems. I am no sure where it is they have discussed that but it's in this forum somewhere.
