Apparently  it is a little tricky removing and inserting the microSD card.  Here's a video showing how to do it.

This is yet another reason to invest in a bigger card if you are going to use it (awww crap, there is goes in my head again).

MAN that's a cool  mechanism for the sd card! Pulling up and down on that little latch is neat to me.

How ever is there a reason why you have to take out your battery to swap memory cards? I bet I'm going to hate that! on my bb I have a little door on the side of it I can swap in and out whenever I want with out resetting the whole phone. anyways...thanks for the vid.

It is easy on the Instinct as well, on the side, there is a slot with a cover over it.
