Apple wins over HTC?

Not much of a surprise.  A US agency siding with a US company is kind of a no-brainer.  I wouldn't be surprised if someone filed a patent on breathing and then, the rest of us wouldn't be permitted to breathe.  Remember Amazon and 1-click shopping? 

Hang on a minute.  I'm filing a patent application on tortillas.

1.  HTC is Taiwanese, not Chinese.
2.  The current patent system is absurd.  Minor modifications can get you around a patent, but you can patent things that are basically nothing but ideas.  Insanity.

Great.  When it comes out, I'll patent the modification.

In that case, don't let anyone know what it is.  Because they'll patent it, make a fortune, and you'll hate yourself.

Sorry.  You cannot copyright a book title.  Only the content of the book is subject to copyright.  If it is sufficiently different, you might be able to trademark it.
