Thanks to the generous efforts of CondemnedSoul at XDA, I now have the lovely Speedo battery gauge icon in the icon bar instead of the default ugly green battery. Its combined with the Transparent Titlebar file that's listed on Myn's. I'm attaching it here.

I shouldn't have to say it but I will, DO A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE YOU FLASH IT (or anything else). Neither CondemnedSoul or I (or this forum) takes any responsibility if you brick your phone. Tongue Note that CondemnedSoul does not have an Evo so its only been tested on my phone so far. It works fine, I had no problem installing it or any other issues. However, YMMV.

Oddly, for some reason, the Transparent Titlebar isn't transparent (wasn't in the original one either). The transparency doesn't seem to be "taking," if you know what I mean. Its still solid black. And I don't seem to be able to change my wallpaper, either. It stays the same as the one in the Myn's file. Any idea why or how to fix it?

Edit: Seems the wallpaper and possibly the bar issue are related to LauncherPro. It crashed and when it restarted, my wallpaper changed. Still black bar though.

Edit #2: Yup, its definitely related to LauncherPro. If I change the setting to hide the bar, when the bar is displayed (by pressing Menu), its transparent. But if I change it back to unhide the bar, the bar goes black again. Strange. I wonder if its the base app or if its the theme that's the problem. I might have to try a different LP theme and see. Grr..

I don't think Myn's is the problem with mine, just LauncherPro. All of the issues I have had have been related to LP. I'm going to look for another theme and see if I still have the same problem.

I also had SetCPU going on a rather aggressive setting. I uninstalled it and will see how it does. That may have had something to do with the near-constant LP crashing. lol

I'm not a big fan of Setcpu.
Wonder why you are having so many issues with LP? I wonder if you should maybe just try the regular version and not themed? You could try and uninstall and try again. There is an .apk for it here that can be installed thru Astro.

I haven't done it that way but might be worth a shot for ya.

I haven't had a crash since I turned off SetCPU. Not sure if its coincidence or that was one of the problems. JuiceDefender now has a CPU control built into it, so I'm just using that now (no, I didn't have both running at the same time). I am still using SeePU++ but I don't think it kills anything unless I tell it to.

Edit: LP crashed again. I really think there's an issue with either LP or the theme. Its also not keeping the screen settings. Gonna clear the LP cache and, now that I have time, find a new theme for it. Had too much running around to do earlier, didn't have time to find one.

Edit #2: It was definitely the LP theme, not LP itself. I did a nandroid restore and installed one of peekeesh's LP themes (speedometer batt vanillalock 60% transparent) and the notification bar is now transparent and it seems to be working fine. Kind of a bummer, as I liked having some of the options from the other theme. I like some of the theme components he had for Myn's RLS 4, so I've asked him if he would be willing to put together a package of them for me (*crosses fingers*). Smiley

LOL You have nooooo idea. Wink I'm even badgering roblin on FB, poor guy. But like I told him, at least I'm not afraid of flashing stuff now, especially since I know my nandroid backup will restore nicely.  One side effect, though. I'm going to get much more irritated from now on with the "how do I" posts from people who haven't bothered to read anything, since I now know how easy it is to read up and follow the step-by-step instructions. Nowai! Badger the devs yourself. Tongue Well, maybe if you make it worth my while. Wink

Edit: BTW, there's something about the default LauncherPro that doesn't like the transparent bar. I installed it alone, with no themes, and then installed the transparent bar mod and it still shows solid black. Grrr.
