Hi Everyone,

I have an Evo 4G that my exhusband apparently rooted when we first got them in 2010.  I don't know much about any of it, and I didn't even know what he did when he did it.  I'm having problems running some programs, and I can't get any updates, and I think it's because of the root thing.  I know he used unrevoked, but when I try to look up how to unroot it, it seems like there are maybe newer versions of unrevoked?  I was wondering if any of you guys can help me unroot it, or point me towards some instructions that I can understand (I don't know much of the technical jargon).  I was able to install a rooted update one time, so I know I can do it, I just need instructions that are a little less technical, and that are for the older version of unrevoked (if such a thing exists!).  Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!  I can't go back and ask my exhusband to fix it because he went kind of crazy when I told him about the divorce, and it's really not safe for me to talk to him at all.

Thanks again!!
Erin

here ya go, read the instructions, read them 2 or 3 times to be sure you understand.
if you still need help, read a couple of pages of that thread, as many people ask questions thru out.

where you can find what??  did you download both files and not just the pc36img.zip?
have you read the thread a little, skim thru some pages to see if anyone else had same problem and what they suggest to fix said problem.
I dont know what else to suggest, i didnt use unrevoked to root my device and not to knowledgeable on it.  Google is your friend, google everything you can to try to help you out.  Sorry i cant help more, but i believe in that thread lies your answer.
