Hi Everyone,
I have an Evo 4G that my exhusband apparently rooted when we first got them in 2010. I don't know much about any of it, and I didn't even know what he did when he did it. I'm having problems running some programs, and I can't get any updates, and I think it's because of the root thing. I know he used unrevoked, but when I try to look up how to unroot it, it seems like there are maybe newer versions of unrevoked? I was wondering if any of you guys can help me unroot it, or point me towards some instructions that I can understand (I don't know much of the technical jargon). I was able to install a rooted update one time, so I know I can do it, I just need instructions that are a little less technical, and that are for the older version of unrevoked (if such a thing exists!). Thanks in advance for any help you can give me! I can't go back and ask my exhusband to fix it because he went kind of crazy when I told him about the divorce, and it's really not safe for me to talk to him at all.
Thanks again!!
Erin

if you still need help, read a couple of pages of that thread, as many people ask questions thru out.
