Those who changed carrier, do you see any diffrence? Less Service? Better? Customer service. Just wanted to hear opinions.

I have had some mixed quality of service from full bars at work to 1 bars, apparently there is a trouble ticket and they are "working on 4g upgrades in my area" and I can't get onto Sprint TV to watch any of the world cup soccer that we are supposed to be able to get, again another trouble ticket, I swtiched from T-mobile and was switching mainly for the speed and network. I still have until the 4th of July to see if I wanna stay or go.

i switched from tmobile to sprint for the evo and the evo alone when i signed up i told the guy i wanted the evo he said sure no problem itll take about two weeks so he said i could use the htc hero until my phone came in. its been three weeks and still no evo Angry i just got off the phone with sprint and they tell me that the sales rep signed mr up fot an htc hero and that there is no sign of him ordering or setting the account up fot an evo i am pissed he set me up for a hero and there is no mention of my evo anywhere. so i told the lady thanks for clearing the situation. im going in tomorrow to talk to the sales rep about my evo. so no i have not had a good experience with sprint. tmobile was horrible reception but they didnt lie to me.

Opie, will you please find out if this is a Sprint Corporate store or an Authorized Reseller?  I've had nothing but good experiences at corporate stores and nothing but crappy experiences at authorized resellers.  You're still within your thirty day guarantee window so you shouldn't have a problem getting it taken care of.

Steve, can you watch anything on Sprint TV or is it just the World Cup that you couldn't watch?  My guess is that during the week the ESPN servers are overloaded with everyone trying to watch games on their phones.

I have had T-Mobile for 10 years and switched to Sprint JUST for the EVO.  I am very happy with Sprint so far and hope to be with them for a long time.  Unless when my contract is up there is a better phone on another provider.

I get very good coverage here in north central West Virginia which is very rural.  Wish the 4G would hurry up and get here but I know that it will be years before we see it.

You never know! Sometimes it comes to the places where permits are easier to get first, and sometimes those places are the smaller areas. Probably why some of the larger cities are still not covered. Red tape.

Just moved my whole family over to sprint. (all with Evo's).
So far sprint service has been great. And the 2 times I have talked to customer service have been super too. (much better than old carrier).

We are lucky to have pretty good 4G service here in the triad.

But for those that don't have it, I will tell you 4G is like a light switch(on/off). Signal doesn't seem to "fade". You have 4G and then you move a bit further and don't have it. Doesn't seem to be any inbetween.

But 3G service with sprint still seems better than the 3G I had, so no complaints.
