What will this mean for Evo 4G owners? Does this mean our phones won't work at the end of 2012 and we have to get new ones?? Thanks in advance for any insight.
My guess is that it means exactly what it says, if you read the article. They will no longer SELL Clearwire devices.
From what I read Sprint purchased LTE so no worries. ...all is good.

Sprint is switching to LTE, which the other mobile companies use already. Clearwire, of which Sprint is a majority owner, uses WiMAX, so they will be going with a different company. Can't "purchase" LTE as far as I'm aware. Its a type of technology. But they are building their own LTE network, according to the article.
