Didnt look at what you posted  but im assuming  Sprints 4G is faster than vrizon but its harder to gt that service.  thanks God i live in brooklyn  ny  where i really have no problems  getting it.  In fact  i get 4G service in some places that i cant get 3G  service. The thing is if you dont ge 4G  service or its spotty than verizon would be faster because they network is better

Yeah I'm a little jealous of Verizon's 4G... a couple of my friends just got the Thunderbolt and I told them to get speedtest, they were getting about 14 meg down and 20 meg up!! Once they got 27 mbps upload which is ridiculous. But the download was usually 12-14, which is faster than most people's internet at home

It's all about spectrum.  True verizons 4g has faster speeds(for now), but once more people use their 4g network it will slow down.  Where as sprints wimax 4g might be slower, but has the capacity for many more users.

Think of it as a highway...

Verizon has a two lane highway with a 100mph speed limit.  Put enough traffic on it and it will be bumper to bumper and will be stop and go traffic.

Sprint is like a five lane highway with a 70mph speed limit.  It can handle lot's more traffic before it is slowed down.

were they using Verizon wifi hotstops or 4g lite.  Its says wifi so it might be differnt.  this is the speed what people are getting from there house using Verzion fios.  I think it might be the wifi  hotspots  not the network itself    Read it it also says   wifi

I'm not sure if you're addressing me or not - but they were using their 4G LTE, not a Verizon wifi hotspot.

Screw Sprint, my company pays for Verizon (would have paid for sprint too) but I didn't want to give them the business. All these phone companies can go screw themselves. I'm still pissed that a CDMA Android phone the I OWN becomes a brick if I switch service. That sucks, elect me for president... I'll throw lobbyists out of the Whitehouse and make companies get customers through competition dammit!
