Why does everyone hate on Sprint service?

My friend at work was back and forth between the evo and the iphone 4G.. he kept asking me if I had any problems yet and I told him no (really I haven't) and so he just broke down and got the iphone.

WoW...for real Sprint sucks?  Heck no!  Sprint is awesome!  Now Verizon sucks monkey ballz!  I first started out w/ Verizon services when cell phones were big, bulky and well all they could do was make calls!  Anyway, Verizon did me wrong...heck just to get a phone way back then Verizon wanted a $1,000 deposit because of my credit...sorry I didnt have credit when i was 19.  ANd then they would sell you on the 'insurance plan" that didn't cover jack!  Anyway,  funny I missed a payment with Sprint and they only shut off my out-going calls...I still had texting, emails, internet etc...!  Now Sprint has won me over just for that alone!  Other companies just shut your phone down until you pay!  Sprint also has a great customer service!  My point...you cango by the stupid Verizon map crap...all I know is I live in Northern NJ and my "bars" are full most of the time...now I have yet to experience 4G...but for right here and now I LOVE my Sprint HTC EVO!  I have had many many phones...being almost 40 I have burned thru many many phones and many more batteries...For these last 3 years having my Sprint Palm Pre and now my Sprint HTC EVO...this phone and Company have been the absolute best to deal with...and this is coming from someone who has had many phones, many providers...Sprint and the HTC EVO haqve been the BEST PHONE & PROVIDER I have EVER EVER had!

They have waved the fee for many people, so I don't see why you would be any different. Call up customer service and let them know that service sucks at your house. If you need to, get a hold of someone in the retention department (they are in charge of keeping you as a customer, instead of letting you slip away to A... or V...).
