Does anyone know why our PRL went from 60677 or 60678 to 01115?

Umm... not sure how I'm supposed to help. What exactly happened? Have you tried rebooting and/or pulling the battery?

lol...sorry...

I updated my PRL & it switched to that 01115 number. Do you think that it has something to do w/my not being able to receive MMS? I did the battery pull & nothing...**sigh**...should I call sprint customer service?

Yes, I'd call Sprint if I were you. Sometimes things don't install right and they need to push it through again. Dunno though, haven't heard of anyone else having the problem.

Have you tried using a different messaging app? Is it possible that the image being sent to you is too large? There is a size limit, yanno.

yeah, using handcent...i just don't get it, it was fine up until sunday...

sprint said they put a "ticket" in for me. told me to go to a repair center & they will "diagnose the problem", blah, blah, blah...

guess i'm gonna have to go get it looked at. great! from all the stuff i've read here on this forum, i'm in for a fun ride.   Huh?

I'd try a couple of other apps before taking it in if I were you. Some apps work great for some people and not for others. For example, I can't send an MMS with Go SMS, but send and receive fine with Handcent. Others have problems with Handcent and have no problems with ChompSMS. Etc.

And make sure in the settings that you have the largest file size set.

Also, before taking it in, I'd try backing everything up and doing a factory reset.

ok...1 more question: do you think I should delete & re-install handcent? tried chomp last nite & it's also not receiving mms...

thanks for all your help  Grin
