Before logging on to this forum I tried your instructions first, to no avail. Then tried every other way I know. I called the Sprint store and they said several phones were replaced that were doing the same thing.  Apparently this has occurred after the last update. They are giving me a new phone today. I will update this thread with any new information. Yes, I used the stock app. The Sprint techs could not send pictures via text also. They did the reset(s) et al. Software was the issue. Their solution was replacing my phone. So I accepted. I sent my pictures via text with new one, all is well.
