well it took me a while to actually find a way to post here since the lay out is different than any other forums i have seen before. but back to topic i have had tons of problems with my phone and the biggest problem is i can't get a replacement from sprint even when i'm paying $7 a month for insurance on this phone. screw sprint with their sh*tty customer service.
here is the list of problems i have
1.the phone is on 3g and searching for 4g even on a full antenna 4g areas.i know this because i have been there a lot. the only fix used to be to turn the phone or 4g off and on but some times that won't even help.
2. the phone freezes and can't pick up the call or anything (mostly when i'm using pdanet)
3. i have zero data connection even when i have full 4g antenna. i can't even use my gps when it happens.this started lately before it would lose data for a sec or so but now it's like couple min (sprint problem?)
4.the weather is completely blank it shows nothing and you can't even click on it.only fix is to restart the phone
5. sometime my phone has no 3g or 4g. it's not about the area because my customer had same phone and his was on 3g. i also had triangle mark on top of my antenna so not sure what that was.
6. when my phone is on pdanet and some one calls or send text msg the music cuts out a it's like a bad cd or something similar and i can't pick up since it's not responding. i use my phone for pdanet a lot so that's why i noticed it it's doing it when i use pdanet. it might do this even with out using pdanet.
7.when i play game it has lag sometimes and it has slow respond. i don't have many programs install so i don't know why it's doing it.
8.if i talk to the phone at same time as the other person over the phone or if my phone picks up a notice i'll hear laud static noice and i can't hear the other person.i have had this problem since i bought it and i couldn't get a replacement even then.
9.the plastic part chips even when they replaced the screen it started to chip again. i think i can get a replacement for that but the thing is the phone is still same pos with same problems. i took it to dealer last time and they put new screen and a bored on it and they said the was one piece of antenna broken that's why it couldn't go 4g but even after that and their stupid factory reset it start doing the same thing 4 days later. i'm getting tired of stopping at the dealer and spending an hour every time. one time i even left my phone there. i have stopped 4 times already and ever time i end up with the same phone. i have gotten to the point where i want to drop the phone in to the water so they can't fix or factory reset the damn thing. i would even pay the $100 to get a trouble free phone.

Spend the 100  dollars for a  better phone.  I think the triangle means roaming data.  .  Its your  phone  thats the problem.

they final y gave me a different one.

Edit: well they didn't replaced the phone. 2 days later and it's starting to act the same way. it's searching for 4g in a full 4 g area. sometimes it's on 3g and it's not even searching for 4g even when the 4g antenna is on. this is bs i'll take it back to the same place. they just replaced the screen and such.

Please use the edit or modify function instead of posting back to back messages.

Just because you are in a 4G area doesn't mean your phone is going to pick up the signal. Especially in buildings. 4G doesn't penetrate buildings very well, and there are often "cold spots" where the signal just doesn't get through, even in a "full coverage" area.

Yup, the many thousands of happy Evo users are proof positive that is not a very good phone.

An app for reading and posting to forums.

On another note, we have two Evos and don't have any major problems with them.  Any minor things are easily dealt with.

While it is possible to get a lemon, I have my doubts about people claiming to have problems with Evo after Evo after Evo.  In such cases, I think what the Evo needs is a user replacement.

Yeah Crash, sometimes it's not phone at all,but the user who doesn't like to read and learn how to use this remarkable phone . I find it hard to believe I'm the only Evo owner without any issues.
