Has anyone tried the new Google Nexus 4g phone? Sorry to say, my wife bought a Samsung Epic 4g and I really like it. I am strongly considering getting the Nexus.

I'm pretty interested in it too. Mainly because after my Samsung Moment and my wife's Samsung Intercept turning out to be a couple of the WORST phones we ever owned (due to their crappy hardware) we decided never to buy another Samsung phone again.

The Nexus S looks like it is doing really well though. I've been interested in seeing if there are any of the same issues with it or if they actually got their act together and released something reliable.

We had Moments too, that is why I went Evo but I have to say that the Epic is pretty darn awesome.  The screen is incredible and I like the stock contact and messaging apps better. You can see the screen in direct sunlight also.  I wanted to go a step further and get the Nexus but there is always a "but".  I went to the Nexus forum and they are having major reception problems with wifi, 3g and 4g.  They are looking into a fix so i will hold off for now. Good grief can anyone make a phone that works when you get it?

I think Samsung's devices have the best screens. Those Super AMOLED Plus (SAMOLED+) displays are definitely superior to anything else I've seen. I took a quick look at crApple's retina display, chuckled and walked away. It's nothing special. No surprise. Like everything Apple does. I don't know why they brag about having more pixels per inch.... the screen is still too small for me.... 3.5" or 4.3"? ....duh! When held over a foot away from my face during normal use it's the size of the screen and how visible text is from that distance that matter more than how many/few pixels I see when I put it under a magnifying glass.

I just hope Samsung gets their hardware together. My old Moment and my wife's Intercept (which she's still being tortured with because we can't upgrade her until July) were complete garbage. Enough to make me decide to never buy Samsung again. I restored my Moment and was going to use it just as a media player so I can use certain radio apps over Wifi and not drain the battery on my Evo. It can barely even handle that. It constantly freezes and crashes.
