The second you add a slide out keyboard to a product, you make it seem way more cheap (imo) It just seems too much like a feature phone for me to take it seriously. I adore my EVO and plan to be with it until it's REAL replacement comes about. (EVO2 PLZ)

And just a thought, but why do we need to let you know whether we're switching or not?

I personally dont care for slide out keyboards.
I love the rubber case on my EVO and they just dont work on sliders.
For me, I came from the iPhone so I quickly got used to a on screen keyboard.
If that other phone is for you, just make sure you demo it in store next to your EVO before you pull the trigger and switch.

Contrary to what's popular I love keyboards! If this phone came out at the same time as the EVO I probably would have chosen otherwise. This is the ultimate reason I chose the Samsung Moment over the Hero and I loved it! I am a big guy with big fingers meaning that typing on a screen isnt easy.

With all that said..........

I love my EVO !!! EPIC will have to show me a lot more than a keyboard to make me cross over.  wink

Are you using the stock keyboard, or something like Swype or Swiftwriter? If you aren't using one of the latter, I'd highly recommend giving them a try. I hated not having a physical keyboard until I got Swype, then fell in love with my on-screen keyboard. I use Swiftwriter now, it works better for me than Swype. Both REALLY help a lot, though. You can find them in the app forum.

Having a little trouble finding the apps on the market, App Brain, and on the forum. Would you know where I can possibly find a barcode? thanks.
